Pygmy Puff Pattern
The Pygmy Puff!
And just another cute photo =)
Pygmy Puffs are small, fluffy, pink or purple pets from the Harry Potter series. They were invented by the Weasley twins. Ginny Weasley has a purple one, named Arnold. I made mine in pink, for the HP7P2 midnight release on the fifteenth. I haven’t decided what to name it yet.
And this is the Pygmy Puff from the movie. I think mine looks more realistic than the store version, and cuter too. =)

R1: 2sc in first st, dc into the same st, ch 1. *slst, dc, ch 1* repeat from * to * twice, ending in the last st with a slst.
Break yarn, leaving a long tail.
Sew the feet on the bottom of the Puff like this.
You'll have to excuse the state of my dog brush. Zilla wanted to see what it tasted like (great, I assume), and I got some fibers stuck in it.
Making the Fur:
Take your brush and start roughly brushing the Puff’s body. Brush it in the same place over and over, up and down, left and right, and diagonally. This makes the fibers come unraveled, and it looks like fur! Once you have a thick fur in one area, move on to another. Leave a small space for where you’ll put the face. When the entire body of the Puff has a thick fur coat, brush all the fur towards the back end of the Puff. Sew on the face to the blank spot.
And you’re done! Congratulations!
I expect to see all of you at the Harry Potter 7 Part 2 release with a Pygmy Puff in hand!
